St.Joachim parish is one of the most active parishes in the diocese of Oakland. In addition to various liturgical celebrations that are held in our parish, there are more than 25 groups gathering together every week for prayer, devotional, educational, social and religious activities. As these groups bring life and growth to our parish, it has been the policy of the Parish to promote these groups as much as possible. However, the parish has been finding it difficult to provide accommodation to all these groups as we have limited facilities in the campus. In order overcome this difficulty, the hall has been renovated in such a way that four groups can meet at the same time. I would like to place on the record the help rendered by Mr.Abelardo Viveros, Mr.Alonzo Garcia, Mr.Earnesto Vasquez and Mr.Victor Nochebueno for the renovation of the hall. The entire expenditure for the renovation of the hall has been equally shared between the Parish and St.Joachim School. The hall has been divided into four different parts and named after the four evangelists – Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. The names are displayed in each section. Kindly be familiar with these names and their locations in the hall. As the renovated hall becomes functional, kindly keep in mind the following points.
1. St.Joachim hall is primarily for the use of St.Joachim parish and group activities related to and recognized by the parish.
2. In order to accommodate the activities of different groups, the hall may be assigned to more than one or two groups at the same time to meet in different rooms in the hall.
3. No group can claim exclusive privilege over the entire hall or any particular room except for a very serious reason approved by the pastor.
4. The group that meets in the main hall should provide access to the groups meeting in the adjacent rooms, including access the rest rooms.
5. The meetings should be organized in such a way that it does not become a major hindrance to the smooth conduct of other meetings that take place in the hall simultaneously.
6. Request for meeting place in the hall should be submitted to the parish office at the beginning of the academic year as announced by the parish and approved by the Pastor.
7. On exceptional situation, such as renovation and maintenance of the hall, with the prior notice of one week time, the parish reserves the right to cancel the meetings in the hall.
8. Make sure to leave the hall neat and clean after your meetings.
9. Make sure to lock the hall after the meetings.

La parroquia de San Joaquín es una de las parroquias más activas en la Diócesis de Oakland. Además de varias celebraciones litúrgicas que se celebran en nuestra parroquia, hay más de 25 grupos reuniéndose cada semana para oración, actividades devocionales, educativas, sociales y religiosas. Como estos grupos traen vida y crecimiento a nuestra parroquia, ha sido la política de la parroquia promover estos grupos tanto como sea posible. Sin embargo, la parroquia ha tenido dificultades para proporcionar espacio para estos grupos porque tenemos instalaciones limitadas en el campus. Para superar esta dificultad, el Salón Social ha sido renovado de tal manera que cuatro grupos pueden reunirse al mismo tiempo. Me gustaría dejar documentado la ayuda prestada por el Sr. Abelardo Viveros, Sr. Alonzo García, Sr. Ernesto Vásquez y Sr. Víctor Nochebuena para la renovación del Salón. 1. El Salón de San Joaquín es principalmente para el uso de la parroquia de San Joaquín y grupo de actividades relacionadas con y reconocido por la parroquia.
2. Con el fin de dar cabida a las actividades de los diferentes grupos, el Salón puede asignarse a más de uno o dos grupos al mismo tiempo en las diferentes partes del Salón.
3. Ningún grupo puede reclamar privilegio exclusivo sobre todo o cualquier parte del Salón excepto por una razón muy seria aprobada por el Pastor.
4. El grupo que se reúne en el salón principal debe proporcionar acceso a las partes adyacentes, incluyendo acceso a los baños.
5. Las reuniones deben organizarse de tal manera que no sean un obstáculo para la conducción de otras reuniones que tienen lugar en el salón al mismo tiempo.
6. La solicitud de espacio en el salón de reunión debe ser enviado a la oficina parroquial al principio del año académico, según lo anunciado por la parroquia y aprobado por el Pastor.
7. En situación excepcional, como la renovación y el mantenimiento del salón, con el previo aviso de tiempo de una semana, la parroquia reserva el derecho a cancelar las reuniones en el salón.
